Meeting with representatives of the French Development Agency

On April 7, 2023 of this year, a meeting with the delegation led by representatives of the French Development Agency (FDA) was held at the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was attended by representatives of the FDA, the head of the implementation group of the project “Financing for the sustainable development of the livestock industry” with the participation of the FDA under the State Committee for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development N. Nazhimov, the grant coordinator J. Narkulov and the State Fund for the Support of Entrepreneurial Activities. K. Radjapov, head of the economic analysis and asset management department, participated.

2022 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the meeting on measures to implement the project “Financing the sustainable development of the livestock sector” with the participation of the FDA on January 13 information was exchanged on the implementation of the tasks established by the decision PQ-84.

During the meeting, they discussed the provision of guarantees and compensation for subprojects within the “inclusive investment” component of the FDA credit line.

They also focused on the cultivation and processing of livestock products in the country, strengthening the material and technical base of farms and agriculture, increasing production capacity, increasing the volume of meat products and increasing exports.

In addition, the representatives of the Fund provided information on the amount of guarantee and compensation financial assistance provided for this project and the number of projects.
